Role Description:
- Responsible for meeting assigned sales targets for repairs, retrofits, hoists, light lifting equipment (including monorails, jib cranes, air balancers, below-the-hook devices, etc.), spare parts, in-house repairs, general overhauls and consultation services. Responsible for sales cases and/or account actions as needed to support activities generated or identified by inside sales, particularly for priority and protect and develop assigned accounts. Refer opportunities for other products to other sales resources by creating sales cases.
Key Tasks :
- Develops market / business plans and sales strategy for designated market that ensures attainment of service contract sales goals and profitability.
- Engage in various sales activities to sell service contracts including inspection, maintenance, on-call service, field.
- Modernizations, lifting equipment's, etc.
- Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Development and implementation of sales plans, targets and budgets as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
- Develop new customer and maintain good relationship with the existing customer in its area.
- Provide necessary support to sales engineer with sales activities.
- Provide timely feedback and reports to manager regarding performance.
- To be fully aware of and comply with current responsibilities and requirements of the relevant OHS Acts, Regulations and applicable Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Report all hazards, incidents and injuries in accordance with legislation and company reporting procedures.
- Participate in programs and assessments to improve health and safety in the workplace.
- Execute all functions in line with the applicable delegation of authority.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Knowledge:
⢠With/Without work experience in industry-related equipment sales, services sales or relevant.
⢠Basic understanding of crane industry business.
⢠Experience in sales management and business development process.
⢠Sound technical background.
⢠Commercial knowledge.
⢠Must be able to work in confined spaces; elevated areas and at heights.
⢠Must be able to travel locally or outside central region for operational requirements.
⢠Proficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
⢠Experience working with customer relations management (CRM) or similar tools.
