Responsibilities
The Housekeeping Houseperson will be responsible for the daily ownership and operational execution of the Housekeeping Department.
- The Housekeeping Houseperson will assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
- Practice safety standards at all times
- Deliver linens and other supplies to room attendants and closets.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas.
- Respond to guests’ requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clean other designated areas such as public restroom, fixtures, vending areas, and storage areas.
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
- Collect items for recycling.
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridor areas.
- Responsible for picking up of soiled linen and trash from closets and disposing/sorting accordingly
- House Attendant will assist with cleaning and shampooing of guest room carpets as well as corridor carpets
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
