What you will be doing:
- Oversee the daily operation of an assigned kitchen station.
- Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to established recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and appearance at all times.
- Maintain appropriate levels of mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
- Monitor food quality throughout service and take corrective action when required.
- Assist with menu development, recipe testing, and seasonal offerings as directed.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of food products using FIFO practices.
- Minimize food waste and support sustainable kitchen operations.
- Conduct regular checks of food quality, storage, and cleanliness standards.
- Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards promptly.
