Position Title: Construction Manager I
Position Location: Location varies by assignment. 75–100% travel across the U.S. unless assigned to an extended project. Must be located near a major US airport.
Job Summary
The Construction Manager I (CMI) supports the contractor and/or owner’s representative throughout all phases of a construction project, helping to ensure that the project’s scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance objectives are met. This role assists with Owner’s Representative and Construction Management responsibilities, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and operations stakeholders.
The CMI contributes to the construction process from pre-construction through turnover and closeout, supporting structured reporting, risk management, and decision-making.
The CMI will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects, tasks or assignments. May work independently, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or may work under immediate supervision. May serve as lead on routine projects, tasks or assignments of limited scope.
The CMI will communicate and operate in line with organizational and client goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
