Summary:
The Provider Network Development Specialist will help shape and execute market-specific Network Strategies, manage the operational readiness of network partners, and ensure smooth cross-functional coordination. As Provider Network Development Specialist, you will partner closely with teams to bring networks from concept to activation to measurable impact.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing complex cross-functional workflows within healthcare technology environments. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role for someone who enjoys structure, process, and delivering execution excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Account Directors to develop and execute Network Strategies in each market, ensuring cross-functional alignment and seamless implementation.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure alignment and readiness for network launch.
- Maintain standardized workflows, checklists, and documentation.
- Manage contracting for new Hub & Spoke partners.
- Translate partner workflows into system configurations and ensure go-live readiness.
- Identify high-potential referral hubs and support partner engagement activities.
- Develop tools, templates, and enablement materials for internal and external teams.
- Track KPIs, maintain dashboards, and collaborate on scorecards to measure network performance.
- Surface risks, troubleshoot delays, and ensure successful activation and utilization.
- Stay curious about emerging AI tools and how they can streamline or enhance work within your function.
What Success Looks Like…
In 3 months…
- Fully ramped on Hub & Spoke and Network Build Playbooks.
- Independently managing contracting and configuration workflows.
- Supporting ADs with strategy execution and readiness tracking.
- Identify at least one opportunity in your role to pilot or apply AI or automation (e.g., streamlining a task, summarizing data, generating content).
In 6 months…
- Managing multiple statewide network builds concurrently.
- Reducing delays between contract execution and training readiness.
- Producing clear, reliable readiness and performance reporting.
In 12 months…
- Recognized as a core driver of Network Strategy and execution.
- Supporting scalable activations across multiple states.
- Demonstrating measurable improvements in onboarding speed, activation, and utilization.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, public health, or related field.
- 5+ years in network operations with a focus on network development, strategic network growth initiatives, and provider contracting.
- Familiarity with behavioral health, healthcare operations, implementations, or health IT preferred.
