Job Description β Commis (Western)
The Commis β Western Cuisine is responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in the preparation and production of Western dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. This role supports daily kitchen operations and ensures that all food preparation is carried out in accordance with hotel policies and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of Western dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure proper food preparation, portion control, and presentation.
Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen station.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
Assist in receiving and checking kitchen deliveries when required.
Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
