AI Data AnalystWork Location: Onsite– Pasir Gudang,Johor Bahru.
About the Role:
The AI Data Analyst at Brooks is responsible forinterpreting and managing data to influence the company's artificial intelligence solutions by extracting data from various sources, interpreting patterns, and analyzing results using statistical techniques.
This newly created global-first AI Data Analyst role at Brooksis responsible forsupporting the development and evaluation of AI-driven solutions through data analysis, insight generation, and model performance monitoring. As the first hire in this space, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the function, influencing future capabilities, and contributing to the strategic direction of AI initiatives across the organization.
Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager based in the US, you will contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI applications at Brooks, working with large datasets, applying statistical techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform model development and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Query, clean, and analyze data using Python (pandas,numpy) and SQL
Python Development: Build reusable scripts, notebooks, and pipelines for analysis and reporting
Model Management: Prepare features, evaluate models, run experiments, track performance
AI Strategy & Planning: Translate business requirements into AI product roadmap & features with business value cases
GenAI / LLM Use Cases:
- Build prompts for business use cases (summarization, Q&A, classification)
- Evaluate outputs (accuracy, hallucination, relevance)
- Structure inputs using RAG and vector database (retrieval from internal data)
AI Agents:
- Design agents to automate tasks (report generation, data queries, alerts)
- Design and optimize agent workflows and tool usage
- Use tools/workflows (e.g., function calling, chains, orchestration tools)
Data Pipelines:
- Transform and prepare data for ML and agentic use
- Ensure clean, structured datasets for downstream use
AI & ML Ops:
- Track model performance and token optimization
-Identifydrift, errors, and failures and resolve proactively
Collaboration:
- Work with business + AI teams to turn problems into data/AI solutions
Communication:
- Explain results simply (what happened, why, what to do next)
Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
3-5 years in data analytics, ML, or AI roles, with at least 1 year in Agentic AI Design & Development
Extreme Python Skills:
- Proven skills using standard libraries (sklearn, pandas,numpy, etc.)
- Ability to analyze datasets end-to-end
GenAI / LLM exposure:
- Experience using tools like Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT or similar
- Proficient with modern GenAI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.
AI Agents:
- Experience building working integrated agents, in Bedrock and/or Azure/Copilot
- Strong awareness of emerging agentic AI trends and tools
Data Platforms:
- Rich experience and knowledge of data warehouses - specifically AWS Redshift and/or Azure Foundry
