The Mid CFX Artist (Cloth) works closely with the CFX Supervisor and Leads to bring the Director鈥檚 vision to life. This role focuses on creating and simulating cloth and hair assets, ensuring high-quality results that meet the artistic and technical standards of the production. The position offers creative challenges and opportunities for growth on a high-end animated feature project.
Responsibilities
Production
Create and maintain cloth and hair assets.
Simulate cloth and hair using Maya鈥檚 nCloth and nHair tools.
Use Yeti for additional hair simulations when required.
Work with proprietary cloth and hair simulation technologies.
Prepare presentation elements for reviews in ShotGrid.
Address feedback from the CFX Supervisor or Leads quickly and accurately.
Ensure simulations meet artistic direction and quality standards.
Collaboration
Communicate effectively with team members, Leads, and the production coordinator.
Participate in reviews and discussions to advance work efficiently.
Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team dynamic.
