The Junior Audiovisual and IT Technician supports the IT team in technical operations related to audiovisual equipment, meeting rooms, infrastructure, and support systems. Under supervision, they contribute to installation, configuration, and first-level troubleshooting, while also tracking requests and performing basic equipment maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to develop diverse technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment, such as a VFX studio.
Key Responsibilities
Audiovisual Systems (Projection Rooms and Meeting Rooms)
Participate in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audiovisual systems (projection rooms and meeting rooms).
Provide first-level support (testing, basic troubleshooting, user assistance).
Ensure that spaces are functional and ready for use.
Provide technical support during internal and external presentations and events.
Server Room Infrastructure
Assist with the installation and organization of equipment in server rooms (cabling, racks, equipment).
Participate in infrastructure development or relocation projects.
Collaborate with external suppliers (e.g., refrigeration technicians), under supervision.
Technical Support and Asset Management
Respond to routine requests related to the configuration, installation, and basic troubleshooting of audiovisual and IT equipment.
Perform first-level diagnostics, maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
Contribute to maintaining an up-to-date equipment inventory.
Participate in the installation and management of cabling (cable pulling, termination, identification, and organization), adhering to best practices.
IT Support Assistant
Participate in first-level technical support: ticket logging, basic diagnostics (hardware, software, access), and communication with users, escalating issues as needed.
Assist in the preparation and configuration of workstations (Windows/macOS/Linux) by following internal software deployment procedures.
Participate in internal installations and relocations (connections, secure organization of workspaces, and basic cabling support and management of cabling infrastructure).
Contribute to on-call support by adhering to emergency procedures and documenting incidents.
