Purpose of Position:
• Be able to carry out thorough Inspection services to various makes and models of standard cranes.
• Work independently on repair, field modernisations and installation jobs on standard equipment.
• Be able to identify and source all parts from the Konecranes Store.
• Be able to offer standard repair and field modernisation solutions to customers.
• Be able to attend emergency breakdowns, identify and repair faults on standard cranes.
• Have a good understanding of Konecranes products and services.
• Have a broad understanding of Konecranes Company, Safety and Risk assessment procedures.
• Be able to identify and contact local Support Functions and Global Technical Support channel if required.
• Broad understanding of Australian Standards.
Brief Summary of Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ability to work safely.
• Identifies and sources all parts from the Konecranes Store.
• Provide repair solutions to customers (Identify opportunities and demonstrated ability to develop added value)
• Demonstrates good customer relations and communication skills.
• Ability to independently repair, carry out field modernisations and install standard equipment.
• Ability to perform Emergency Repairs – Show a broad ability to problem solve emergency breakdowns.
• Synchronises and submits time & expense hours on a daily basis
• Consults/presents the “Safety Review” after each visit (daily) and the “Visit Review” at the conclusion of the job, if not done daily.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

• Accurate Risk Assessment conducted for each task.
• Ability to show sourcing techniques. Supervisor/Buddy/authorised person feedback, appraisals.
• Safe Act Observations, POWRA completion, customer feedback, presentation.
• Siebel Trackers & reports, customer feedback, appraisals.
• On-call feedback, appraisals, customer feedback
Work Related Requirements
• Ensure that the Konecranes and Demag brand is communicated consistently and in accordance with the Company’s Values and brand principles.
• Ensure that Konecranes and Demag Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes are followed.
• Ensure that Konecranes and Demag paperwork and procedures are followed accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
• Participate in the “On Call” roster as required.
• Be available for travel locally and interstate on occasion as required.
• Provide repair quotations to customers as required.
• Actively engage in training programs.
• Actively promote Safety within the team.
• Proactively engage with employees promoting Konecranes and Demag as an employer of choice.
• Effectively use the oneKonecranes tools assigned for use in day to day work.
