The DSE coordinates and leverages the involvement of multiple stakeholders throughout the sales process to consistently secure new customer revenue for the district office and the broader Expeditors network. Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Build, grow, and maintain customer relationships while collaborating closely with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management teams.
- Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer's logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
- Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork.
- Assist in account receivable (AR) collection when needed to maintain healthy account status
- Actively participate in training & development program to enhance selling skills and stay current on Company's products and services.
- Engage in local industry and trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager.
- Conduct required sales activities, budget and performance targets, including meeting targeted sales calls.
- Take on additional assignments or duties as required to support company objectives.
