As a Business Analyst / Data Analyst, your mission will be to translate user and regulatory requirements into functional design and validated solutions for a regulatory application within a complex IT environment.
You will work closely with Business, IT, and Data teams, contributing to the analysis, design, and validation of data-intensive systems operating under strict regulatory constraints.
We need someone like you to contribute across the following responsibilities:
Translate user and regulatory requirements into clear functional designs and validated solutions.
Define the business logic of a Big Data system to meet financial regulatory requirements.
Act as an expert across multiple initiatives, conducting business research and analysis tasks as needed.
Serve as a bridge between Business, IT, and Data teams, facilitating discussions and aligning expectations.
Present analysis results and proposed solutions to senior stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned topics, from investigation through solution validation and stakeholder sign-off.
Use SQL to analyse data, and to create or recreate reports and solutions according to agreed business specifications.
Use SQL to validate data quality of implemented solutions.
Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
Contribute to a high-performance and improvement-driven team environment, promoting quality and best practices.
Work within a Scrum / Agile framework as part of a high-performance delivery team.
Document solutions and analysis using JIRA, Confluence, and ALM tools.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Product-related roles within software environments.
Proven experience working directly with software development teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of banking and/or financial services environments.
Excellent knowledge of SQL.
Medium-level proficiency in Excel.
Experience working in Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
University degree in a financial, business, or related field.
Very good command of English (B2+ or higher).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proactive and investigative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of wholesale banking products (FX, bonds, equities).
Exposure to Big Data, Spark, or cloud environments.
Experience with software development life cycle tools (e.g. ALM platforms).
Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, automated testing tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
Spanish language skills.
Business Analysis certification.
