The Senior Image Finaling Artist Artist is responsible for the last stage of the visual pipeline, ensuring shots are polished, clean, and aligned with the project鈥檚 artistic direction. This role involves a variety of tasks, including clean-up, continuity fixes, stereo adjustments, and retakes. Depending on experience, the artist may work under close supervision or with significant autonomy.
Responsibilities
Production
Perform image clean-up, continuity corrections, and last-pass compositing in Nuke.
Address paint fixes, stereo corrections, projection setups, and minor retake integration.
Ensure visual polish, color balance, and consistency across shots and sequences.
Collaborate with lighting, compositing, and production teams to maintain visual quality.
Troubleshoot and optimize shots based on technical and artistic feedback.
Apply retakes according to notes from supervisors or leads.
Maintain organized files and workflows following studio standards.
Collaboration
Share knowledge and best practices with peers and junior artists.
Participate in dailies and provide constructive feedback.
Support leads and supervisors during reviews and look development phases.
