The System Administrator is responsible for the health, security, and performance of Rodeo FX鈥檚 IT infrastructure. In collaboration with the infrastructure team, they ensure the smooth operation of application systems, network stability, proactive capacity management, and effective incident response.
Key Accountabilities :
System Integration and Automation
Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell and Python scripts to automate processes and interactions between systems.
Create, test, and deploy APIs to enable seamless system integrations.
Manage and optimize Microsoft and Azure environments.
Facilitate application and configuration deployment across the Windows fleet using scripting and packaging.
Develop technical documentation and custom performance reports.
System Security and Proactive Monitoring
Ensure system security through continuous management of firewalls, VPNs, SSO, and other security components.
Monitor and quickly address any security-related issues or incidents.
Implement monitoring best practices to anticipate performance and capacity needs.
Infrastructure Management and Support
Manage and maintain LAN/WAN configurations and ensure optimal functionality.
Provide second-level support for network infrastructure, escalating to external vendors as needed.
Administer virtualization infrastructure for both servers and workstations.
Participate in 24/7 support rotations for network services and incident response.
Installation, Maintenance, and Deployment
Deploy and maintain application systems, telecom equipment, storage units, and other infrastructure in offices and data centers.
Collaborate with external vendors to ensure system and service stability.
Maintain infrastructure following industry best practices.
IT Project Participation
Actively contribute to infrastructure projects: planning, task execution, progress tracking, and reporting.
Support project leads with regular updates on task completion and project status.
