Join us as Sales Engineer where you will be responsible for promoting and selling our material handling equipment, solutions to develop new business and acquire new customers across the country.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle: identify prospects via leads and cold calls, create demand, build relationships, and propose solutions to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
- Prepare quotations/tenders, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with authority levels and MIS policies. Experience in public procurement and e-tendering is preferred.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely, accurate delivery per customer specifications.
- Update project details in Project Management and ProISO databases for visibility and follow-up.
- Use Siebel CRM to monitor, analyze, and report monthly sales data, manage targets, and support product/service planning.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential customer needs; share leads and inquiries to foster team collaboration.
- Stay updated on products, competitors, and promotional materials to better target customers.
- Support marketing efforts through events, trade shows telemarketing, and product presentations.
- Maintain long-term customer satisfaction through periodic visits and performance monitoring.
- Monitor accounts receivable, coordinate with Finance for invoicing, and follow up on overdue payments.
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment sales at MNC companies
- Intensive knowledge of cranes
- Good communication, negotiation, persuasion, interpersonal skills and target orientation to get the results.
- Fluent English
