for all our business units in the scope of IKEA Thailand. You will be a true business partner ensuring that
the leadership and competence development agenda supports the needs of the business and
leads to sustainable long-term profitability.
Your assignment
- Promote and drive the IKEA culture and Lead by Example in connecting all Learning & Development (L&D) activities back to our IKEA values.
- Create and foster a lifelong learning culture and atmosphere where ongoing knowledge sharing becomes a natural part of how we operate our business.
- Be the main point of contact for market L&D initiatives and be present in the stores and service office, as per the frequency outlined in the L&D agenda/main action points.
- Design a Learning & Development strategy and plan to ensure our co-workers have the right competence in the organization by utilising insights from commercial reviews, Management and Talent Reviews, PEDP (Performance Evaluation and Development Plan) and CMT (Competence Mapping Tool), as well as other relevant benchmark documents.
- Assess, develop, and review trainings, business, people, and leadership development. This includes developing business leadership competence and using commercial intelligence to support better business decision making.
- Support the organisation with a systematic approach to learning and development by using learning staircase and secure the right tools and methods for learning as a best-fit for the business, cost-consciously and guided by IKEA values. This is done by undertaking the mapping of competence and working alongside functional managers and stakeholder in the store to identify opportunities for functional competence development.
- Actively contribute towards People excellence through coordinating the People Review across all stores and support in securing and building a pool of competent reviewers.
- Actively participate in the Country People Forum and contribute to the IKEA Thailand People strategy and tactics.
- Keep up to date with trends in people learning and development practices, industry trends, learning technologies, and competencies from CBF learning offers and external resources to ensure the development of suitable solutions for a future-ready workforce.
- Adopt regional facilitator framework and adapt to support the local business needs in building and maintaining local facilitator pool.
- Lead the IKEA Thailand L&D team and partner with the Store HR teams to collaborate and execute the learning agenda in and across the stores and service office.
- Track the budgets and ensure that local government reporting is done in a timely manner. Stay up to date with local legislation.
Note
This position will be based in IKEA Bang Yai. Frequent travel to the other IKEA Thailand stores is required.
