Duties: The duties of the Resident Safety Officer (Construction) shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Responsible for on-site reporting to the Client and Contract Administrator, and carry out assigned duties.
Carry out routine site safety supervision for building construction.
Identify unsafe acts and physical conditions across site operations and ensure immediate corrective action is taken.
Ensure contractor site safety precautionary measures implementation.
Investigate and record all near-misses, incidents and accident cases, and prepare detailed reports, recommend preventive measures, and track corrective action items to closure.
Ensure site compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and contract requirements.
Carry out ad-hoc inspections and attend relevant meetings.
