CAD Drafter

About the role

The CAD Drafter is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and construction documentation to support design and project delivery activities. Working closely with architects, engineers, designers, project managers, and construction teams, this role ensures drawings and models are produced in accordance with project requirements, technical standards, and quality expectations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

What you´ll do

• Prepare, revise, and maintain CAD drawings, plans, details, and construction documents for projects across various stages of development.
• Produce accurate layouts, floor plans, site plans, equipment layouts, and technical drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and project teams to incorporate design changes and project updates.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client requirements, applicable codes, and industry best practices.
• Maintain drawing logs, version control, and document management systems.
• Review and update as-built drawings and record documentation.
• Support design coordination efforts by identifying and resolving drafting conflicts and discrepancies.
• Assist with space planning, facility planning, and construction documentation activities as required.
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Support continuous improvement of CAD standards, templates, and drafting procedures.
