Project Management
- Lead the execution of railway civil and track construction projects from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements, contractual obligations, and company objectives.
Civil & Track Construction Management
- Manage all civil works activities, including earthworks, structures, drainage, foundations, and railway-related infrastructure.
- Oversee track installation activities, including ballast, sleepers, rails, turnouts, and associated track components.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and construction standards.
- Coordinate construction interfaces between civil, track, signalling, telecommunications, and systems teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues affecting project performance.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project-specific safety requirements.
- Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Commercial & Contract Management
- Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Review subcontractor performance, certifications, and payment applications.
Quality Management
- Ensure all works comply with approved quality plans and inspection requirements.
- Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained and handed over in accordance with client requirements.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
- Mentor engineers and site management personnel.
- Drive team performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
