Key areas of responsibility vary across countries but include:
- Partner and support the Regional IT Teams, Procurement, Regional Operations Directors and Regional Finance teams in all aspects of International IT Finance.
- Lead and coordinate the quarterly Outlook and annual operating planning processes for the IT Function and Software P&L’s including consideration for Growth, Inflation and Forex implications.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to Senior Management.
- Complete monthly analysis of actual operating costs and provide explanation of variances to Outlook/Plan/Prior Year.
- Own end-to-end IT capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, governance, and tracking across regions, aligning investment roadmaps with strategy and approved funding envelopes.
- Develop and present a monthly reporting pack to senior management comprising of updates from each of the regions.
- Be the first point of contact for IT requests for the International Operating Group.
- Support the wider business in understanding Software spend, engaging with the regions and corporate.
- Support the month end close process performing reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, maintain and adjust for accruals, prepayments and fixed assets. Working alongside the GBS teams.
- Other adhoc tasks as and when they are required.
- Develop and work towards transferring any manual processes and transactional activities to GBS.
- Develop and improve consolidated reporting.
