Receive all incoming deliveries and verify accuracy of orders against purchase orders and packing slips.
Inspect goods upon arrival for quantity, quality, and condition; report and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
Properly store all food, beverage, and general supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
Accurately log received items into inventory systems and coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable regarding receipts and invoices.
Issue requested items to departments according to approved requisitions and ensure accurate documentation of outgoing inventory.
Monitor stock levels and assist with regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness) and are secured against loss or theft.
Coordinate with suppliers, delivery personnel, and department heads to ensure timely delivery and distribution of goods.
Follow all hotel and departmental procedures related to receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control.
Maintain records of receipts, stock levels, and goods issued in accordance with audit and internal control requirements.
Report any inventory discrepancies, spoilage, or expired goods to the Assistant/Director of Finance immediately.
Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or carts safely and efficiently.
Assist with end-of-month inventory procedures and prepare reports as requested.
