We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee structural work on construction sites, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. As a key member of our site supervision team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying potential issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support project quality and safety objectives.
- Conduct detailed structural inspections of building components, materials, and construction methods to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and UAE regulatory requirements
- Analyze structural elements and construction techniques, identifying deficiencies or deviations and recommending corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations for project stakeholders
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to address inspection findings and resolve construction issues
- Verify quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring all work meets established standards and project requirements
- Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation
- Communicate inspection results and recommendations clearly to site personnel and project management
- Perform site walkthroughs and progress assessments to track construction advancement and identify potential risks
