At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Dublin office.
This role is primarily site-based, with attendance on site required four days per week and one day per week available for remote working.
We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with 7+ years' experience delivering commercial, building, and civil infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle. Working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, you will lead the delivery of high-profile developments from project inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
In this role, you will support the delivery of a major, multi-year capital investment programme that is transforming a nationally significant infrastructure asset.

- Experience working with the NEC Suite of Contracts in a client, contractor, or subcontractor role.
- Experience delivering projects within the aviation sector or other similarly constrained or operationally complex environments.
- Experience delivering major projects across any infrastructure sector.
What you’ll do
Programme Requirements, Standards & Performance
- Oversee and monitor project delivery across all key areas including schedule, interfaces, cost, variations, contracts, and risk, coordinating with relevant team members and functional stakeholders as required.
- Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, ensuring the project is aligned with and delivered in accordance with the Contracting Entity’s standards, governance, and delivery methodologies.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Airport Transformation Manager, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, each responsible for the successful delivery of one or more projects within the programme portfolio.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Project Managers, ensuring appropriate project management methodologies, controls, and performance measures are implemented to achieve delivery against cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed resource plans to support the effective delivery of projects under the Senior Project Manager’s responsibility.
- Provide technical, commercial, and contractual guidance to Project Managers in the execution of their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Be accountable for the preparation and presentation of performance reports across all projects within the assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with the Programme Director to identify, escalate, and resolve issues arising during project delivery.
Project Management Activities
- Lead the overall coordination of projects, ensuring all interfaces are identified, managed, and addressed throughout each stage of the project lifecycle.
- Maintain and manage the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed (RACI) task tracker to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Coordinate with technical teams in the management of design consultants and other external service providers to ensure delivery requirements are achieved.
- Organise and chair design review meetings, and communicate formal design acceptance to the Contractor as appropriate.
- Ensure all relevant project team members and stakeholders are informed of design changes and potential impacts on project delivery.
- Prepare and issue monthly reports detailing project activities and progress throughout the lifecycle, including construction activities during the delivery phase.
- Maintain and regularly update the overall project risk register, ensuring risks are reviewed and discussed at monthly progress meetings.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project management procedures, templates, and delivery practices, escalating recommendations to the appropriate line manager.
- Monitor project performance and apply appropriate performance management techniques to support successful project outcomes.
- Manage the project change control process, ensuring all changes are properly assessed, approved, documented, and communicated.
- Manage the flow of project information between the project team and the client through regular meetings, reporting, and formal written communications.
