Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking to advance your career?
Do you have strong technical expertise in water treatment equipment and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges while supporting the development of others?
We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our Equipment Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on more technical responsibility, mentor colleagues, and work on a wide range of specialist water treatment systems across the UK.
As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and repair of water treatment and purification equipment at customer sites. You will use your technical expertise to resolve complex issues, support and coach junior engineers, and help deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
You will also play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our service business across Scotland. By building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to provide additional services and solutions, you will help expand our regional presence while ensuring customers receive the highest level of technical support.
This is a varied, field based role offering autonomy, continuous learning and the opportunity to develop into future leadership positions.
What you will be doing…

Produce detailed service reports, technical recommendations and customer documentation.
Provide technical expertise to support customers, colleagues and internal teams.
Assist with the training, coaching and development of Trainee and Service Engineers.
Deliver customer training on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
Assist in developing technical documentation, manuals and service procedures.
Manage spare parts and maintain company tools and specialist test equipment.
Develop strong customer relationships and actively promote the Company's products and services, preparing simple quotations where appropriate and identifying more complex opportunities for referral to the sales team, helping to grow our service business across Scotland.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company policies, ISO standards and Health & Safety requirements.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and customer call-outs, including participation in the on-call rota and occasional weekend working.
Travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays and short term assignments.
