- Building Guardian 🏨🔧 Oversee the maintenance and operation of all hotel facilities, ensuring safety, comfort, and operational excellence at all times.
- Preventive Maintenance Champion 🛠️ Implement and manage preventive maintenance programes to keep equipment operating efficiently and reliably.
- Safety & Compliance Protector 🛡️ Ensure full compliance with health, safety, fire prevention, and other regulatory standards, while maintaining a safe environment for guests and teams.
- Energy Efficiency Leader 🌱⚡ Drive sustainability initiatives and monitor energy consumption to optimize efficiency and reduce environmental impact, acting as our Green Key Guardian.
- Technical Problem Solver 🔍 Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.
- Team Leader & Mentor 👷♂️🤝 Lead, train, and inspire the engineering team, fostering accountability, skills development, and teamwork.
- Projects & Renovations Driver 🏗️ Manage technical projects, upgrades, and refurbishments from planning through to execution, with minimal disruption to operations.
- Supplier & Contractor Coordinator 🤝🔩 Work closely with external suppliers and contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and cost control.
- Budget Controller 📊 Manage the engineering/maintenance budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Operational Partner 🎯 Work closely with the Rooms, F&B, and Operations teams to ensure the hotel runs seamlessly day to day.
