The Cleveland Clinic Florida team is looking to add an RN to the team who will float between West Palm Beach,Wellingtonand Palm Beach Gardens on an as-needed basisto cover any call outs and provide PTO and FMLA coverage. Some of the specialties you will work in include Gynecology,Colorectal,Pulmonaryand MRI.In this role, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey.Your efforts will help improvethe patientexperience as well as provide support to the provider team from start to finish.Here,you can learn how to do procedures through hands-on experiences, take part in continuoustrainingand potentially transition into a clinical role.
APRNcaregiver in this position must havetheavailabilityto work Monday-Friday from 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with flexibility on start and end times.Working48 hoursper 6-week period and a minimum of one day per week will berequired.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephonetriageandestablishcare plans.
Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
Administer medications and treatments.
Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
Assistwith specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeuticproceduresand specialized patient care equipment.
Develop, evaluate,adaptand document health education and provide it to patients and families.
Cover other nursing roles within the department.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma,ADNor BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of recent experience as an RN
Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’sof Science in Nursing (BSN)
RN experience in an outpatient setting
Urgent Care experience
