Be part of something new at H60, a 50-bed Trauma Acute Care Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus that will play an integral role in the growth of the emerging trauma program. This is an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to help shape a brand-new unit, builda strong teamculture, and deliver exceptional care to patients throughout their recovery. The unit will initially care for a medical-surgical population before transitioning into its long-term role as a dedicated Trauma Acute Care Unit.

A caregiver in this position works a day/night rotation from 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday requirement.

Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate,updateand revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess andcoordinatepatients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing(Diploma,ADNor BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross
One year of current acute care RN experience
Will consider military RN experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor ofScience inNursing (BSN)
