As aneHospitalRegistered Nurse (RN), you will be part of one of the most innovative andcutting-edgeprograms that Cleveland Clinic offers. TheeHospitalteam remotelymonitorspatients on Intensive Care Units (ICU) at several of Cleveland Clinic’s regional hospitals. While theeHospitalteam is not physically there withapatient, the healthcare providers have full access to electronic medical records, can place orders, and can review labs and imaging studies. The team can also perform visual assessments using in-room cameras and collaborates with caregivers in the ICUs using two-way audiovisual communication tools that can be activated either byeHospitalor ICU staff.eHospitalmonitors a total of 244 ICU beds and 44 Med/Surg beds.eHospitalclinicians intervene in criticalsituations,and they alsoprovide support for routine activities.eHospitalnurses are also expected to do virtual rounding and check-in on patients at least once a night.

This is a PRN position. A caregiver in this position works variable nights| 7:00pm—7:30am| 48 hours every 6 weeks including one weekend.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement andmonitorpatient care plans.
Monitor,recordand communicate patients’ conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess andcoordinatepatients’ discharge needs.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accreditedSchool of Professional Nursing(ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross
If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) throughAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
External applicantsmust have two years recent related nursing experience
Internal applicantswith less than two years’ experience but post orientation /90 dayprobationary period could be considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments
Will consider licensed military RN experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’sofScience inNursing (BSN)
