Position Summary
The Sales Executive – Corporate & Government is responsible for driving room revenue by developing and managing corporate accounts, negotiated rate agreements, and transient business for Raffles Hotel Le Royal. The role focuses on identifying new corporate clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, and maximizing room night production while ensuring exceptional service that reflects the luxury standards of Raffles Hotels & Resorts.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, solicit, and develop new corporate accounts to increase transient room business.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing corporate clients to maximize room night production.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and presentations to promote the hotel's accommodation offerings.
- Develop and implement account plans to achieve individual room revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Corporate Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of assigned corporate accounts and ensure consistent account growth.
- Negotiate and maintain corporate room rate agreements within approved pricing guidelines.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to evaluate production and identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate client profiles, negotiated rates, and production records in the CRM system.
- Ensure all negotiated corporate contracts are renewed in a timely manner.
Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly and annual room revenue and room night targets.
- Increase weekday occupancy through corporate transient business.
- Maximize revenue opportunities by promoting premium room categories and value-added packages.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share within the corporate segment.
Sales Administration
- Prepare corporate contracts, proposals, and rate agreements.
- Maintain accurate sales call reports, account production reports, and activity plans.
- Update CRM records following each client interaction.
- Submit weekly sales activity reports and monthly forecasts.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with Reservations, Front Office, Revenue Management, and Finance to ensure seamless handling of corporate bookings.
- Ensure negotiated rates and account information are accurately loaded into the reservation system.
- Resolve booking issues and client concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute market intelligence and sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management
- Conduct regular courtesy visits to maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure prompt follow-up on enquiries, requests, and feedback.
- Represent the hotel professionally at networking events, trade functions, and client engagements.
