We’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with a roads & transportation background who’s ready to lead, inspire, and make an impact, to join our growing offices in Cork, Dublin, or Galway, following continued growth across our national and regional transport portfolio.
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering transformative transport projects — from major BusConnects programmes to Greenways and Active Travel schemes — that are redefining how people move across Ireland.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Deliver: Manage design packages for major road, greenway, and urban transport schemes from concept to construction.
- Coordinate: Oversee multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians, ensuring seamless collaboration across drainage, structures, and environmental disciplines.
- Innovate: Apply the latest standards including DMURS, Cycle Design Manual, and TII Publications to create safe, people-focused transport solutions.
- Engage: Work directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, guiding them through technical challenges and statutory approval processes (Part 8 / ABP / SID / EIA).
- Mentor: Support and coach junior engineers, contributing to AECOM’s culture of growth and continuous learning.
