University Health Network (UHN) is seeking an exceptional AI Scientist to join the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre (PMCC) AI Team and help advance the development, evaluation, and responsible deployment of artificial intelligence across cardiovascular care, research, and operations. The AI Scientist will play a leading role in the design, development, evaluation, and deployment of AI-enabled tools and systems across PMCC. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of agentic AI systems that support complex multi-step clinical, research, and operational workflows; identify opportunities to deploy and adapt existing AI models, foundation models, and decision-support tools in real-world environments; and develop AI-enabled research analytics and workflow tools that strengthen research productivity, operational efficiency, and clinical innovation. Working closely with clinicians, scientists, software developers, data specialists, and operational leaders, the AI Scientist will help ensure that AI tools are safe, auditable, scalable, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the PMCC and UHN.
