The Senior Analyst position reports to the Manager, and will be responsible for supporting key initiatives and priorities across Connected Care . This role will leverage strong project and change management capabilities to support high priority and complex projects, aimed at transforming care experiences to improve patient outcomes.
Two early priorities include transforming UHN’s outpatient experience across 300+ clinics, impacting up to 1.5 million visits annually, and supporting the expansion of the Nurse Practitioner Led Connected Care Hub, a regional service delivery asset providing community based care, to include Active Remote Care Monitoring.
RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:
- Support the establishment of detailed project plan to articulate time, budget, resources, scope and risks in projects
- Support project activities related to scope, schedule, resources, communications, risk, financial budget and development of resulting project documentation
- Manage risks by balancing client expectations, project scope and taking early action to resolve problems
- Successfully support the planning, implementation and delivery of projects within an inter-disciplinary team environment, including acute, outpatient and home and community care partners
- Regularly engage with project sponsors and stakeholders to collect requirements and to ensure success through project lifecycle
- Apply change management and communication strategies to multiple stakeholders and organizations throughout projects
- Use the integrated delivery approach to ensure successful implementation and adoption of digital health services across a varied group of stakeholders
- Perform assignments and special projects in support of organizational objectives, often functioning across disciplines and areas of expertise.
- Work with minimal supervision and report escalations as required
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of various alternatives and select or recommend appropriate solutions which are practical and thorough, to a wide range of complex problems
- Assist in the management and monitoring of project plans and budgets
- Seek to improve team performance by encouraging other team members to contribute to team tasks
- Demonstrate ability to oversee end-to-end low-moderately complex assignments and projects with little supervision. Work with Manager to identify and resolve barriers and challenges
- Demonstrate critical thinking to ensure deliverables continue to align with project and program goals and vision; identify impacts of ongoing changes
- Demonstrate ability to lead a small group of analysts and/or students on low to moderately complex projects
- Lead self and peers by conduct and example. Participate and contribute on assigned project teams or committees by assisting in the development of guidelines, procedures, standards, and monitoring for industry compliance. Provide assistance and/or training to designated staff members
