At NielsenIQ, staying connected is essential. As part of the Global Payroll Center of Excellence, the Payroll Analyst plays a key role in delivering payroll services across the Eastern Europe region. This position works closely with HR and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll for associates in Bulgaria, while also driving continuous process improvements. The role reports directly to the Cluster Leader and supports the broader Payroll function at NielsenIQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations.
- Process monthly absence data, including sickness and other legally mandated paid and unpaid absences.
- Perform payroll reconciliations.
- Prepare payroll-related accruals.
- Deliver all year‑end payroll activities.
- Identify and recommend improvements to payroll processes and systems.
- Ensure execution of all SOX‑compliant payroll controls.
- Support internal and external audits and tax activities, including preparing required data and documentation.
- Respond to Finance and HR inquiries.
- Build strong relationships to support effective collaboration and address payroll questions and ad‑hoc requests.
- Prepare payroll and ad‑hoc reports as needed.
- Collaborate with NSSI and NRA during audits or inspections.
