Under the direction of the Back of House Management Team, our dishwashers clean and put away all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and dish machines.
THE DAY TO DAY:
- Operate dishwashers efficiently.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized properly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and kitchen
- Take out garbage and recycling regularly
- Assist with basic kitchen prep as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times
- Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks.
- Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products.
- Safely handle and store cleaning products.
- General dish area maintenance including: sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
** Relocation Requirement: This position is based in Blue Mountain, Ontario, approximately two hours north of Toronto. Please note that Oliver & Bonacini does not provide staff accommodation. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing their own housing.
**Transportation: Reliable transportation is essential. Public transit in Blue Mountain does not align with typical shift start and end times, so access to a personal vehicle is strongly recommended.
