The Production Floor Manager serves as the operational anchor within the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of production activities—from the metal shop to final quality testing. Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Floor Manager will lead daily operations, which will include the physical plant, and its human resources, driving process improvements and optimizing productivity to ensure we meet our operational objectives.

- Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee all production floor activities, including metal fabrication, mechanical/electrical assembly, and QC testing.
- Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and mentor Team Leads and department members to foster a culture of safety, precision, and professional growth.
- Process Optimization: Design and execute workflow improvements. You will be expected to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance throughput and project execution.
- Quality & Compliance: Partner with stakeholders to implement and maintain rigorous quality control programs, to include but not limited to ISO 9000 certification.
- Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support new product development (NPD) and prototype builds.
- Facility Oversight: Propose and implement layouts for optimal floor flow and establish preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Talent Acquisition: Play a key role in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding the next generation of production talent.
