The primary role of the Quality Engineer will be to interpret, comply with and improve MCG's quality assurance standards. Essential to this responsibility will be the requirement to ensure quality assurance activities are documented, internal reporting processes adhered to, and regular audits implemented. The Quality Engineer will identify any training needs and ensure the company-wide participation in the quality management system.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and document inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables.
- Assist operations team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels for performance, corporate social responsibility, environmental, health, and safety goals and key performance indicators.
- Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Monitor risk-management procedures using software and documentation to identify, investigate, and report issues to management and product development teams.
- Identify and provide training and support to team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support, participate in, or conduct external ISO, UL, or internal audits
- Performs other duties as assigned.
