This role supports the assembly of copper bus required for electrical equipment. The overall objective of this position is to provide high quality craftsmanship when assembling copper bus and similar conductive material using best in class installation techniques in order to contribute to a team focused on achieving industry leading cycle time, delivering superior quality, and assisting in reducing per unit costs. Consistent and accurate representation of the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm | Occasional Saturdays
Accountabilities
- Demonstrate an entry‐level of proficiency in executing workmanship on all production projects to include large line‐ ups and complex sections in areas of assembling and installing copper bus into enclosures, per drawing packages and instructions defined by the Engineering Department.
- Install and mount conductive material into electrical enclosures by reading and comprehending schematics or documents, under supervision and guidance from senior team members, to efficiently build customized equipment in order to meet and exceed deadlines.
- Perform daily tasks with safe and proper use of equipment and tools, including tape measures, drills, hand power tools, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and saw horses.
- Interpret and apply basic knowledge of manufacturing and principles while reading specifications to make determinations on bussing parts, methods, and sequencing.
- Maintain a safe, clean and well‐organized work area by complying with safety procedures, rules, quality standards and best practices, and relying on pre‐established guidelines or directions from senior team members to perform tasks optimally.
- Maintain operational excellence by completing necessary paperwork such as Engineering Corrective Reports, Non‐ conformance Reports, Corrective Action Reports, and Material Transfer Requests.
