We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with experience in Salesforce testing and Playwright-based automation. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of systems through robust automated and manual testing across both Salesforce and non-Salesforce applications.
You will work closely with engineering and product teams to design and implement automation strategies, validate complex integrations, and improve overall test coverage. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright.
Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business requirements across Salesforce and integrated applications.
Automate functional, regression, and integration test scenarios to improve coverage and efficiency.
Perform manual testing when needed to support exploratory testing and validation of complex scenarios.
Validate data integrity and accuracy across Salesforce and connected systems.
Document and track defects clearly, including detailed reproduction steps and impact assessment.
Generate and communicate test execution reports, automation coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with developers, POs, PMs, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage.
Support biweekly production releases, including validation activities scheduled on Wednesdays (afternoon) and occasionally on Saturdays (midday); schedule may evolve based on business needs.
Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and solution validation discussions.
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in automation and testing processes.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and ensure automation aligns with new features and changes.
Coordinate with the offshore QA team on task assignments, status updates, and collaborative efforts to support effective work handoff.
Support the testing and validation of emergency releases and unplanned fixes to ensure quality and stability in production environments.
