As an Implementation Consultant (IC), you are the strategic architect of client success, ensuring a software suite is deployed with precision and high-value alignment. You act as the critical bridge between complex clinical trial requirements and technical execution. Your mission is to lead customer enablement by translating business needs into robust system configurations while adhering to Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP). You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through workshops, specification agreements, and the modernization of their clinical data workflows.
Responsibilities
Strategic Implementation & Consulting
Solution Leadership: Lead the configuration and enablement of the software, translating intricate customer needs into functional clinical system solutions.
Technical Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing data-driven guidance on best practices for software implementation to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.
Specification Management: Author and adapt comprehensive functional specifications and test cases based on unique client requirements for both core products and custom integrations.
Project Governance: Manage multiple concurrent customer-facing engagements, ensuring all deliverables meet Project Management timelines, budget constraints, and agreed-upon scopes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Mentorship
Team Development: Support and mentor junior team members (AICs) and new hires, taking accountability for the quality of delivery and fostering professional growth.
Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate seamless communication between R&D, Developers, and Project Managers to resolve configuration issues, UAT blockers, and system bugs.
Training & Enablement: Lead in-person and remote client workshops; support the Training Group in developing and delivering high-impact internal and external course materials.
Operational Excellence: Participate in and lead internal initiatives focused on process improvement, product enhancement, and the definition of organizational best practices.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all implementation activities comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry data handling standards to facilitate downstream statistical analysis.
Quality Control: Lead issue resolution during enablement, providing expert guidance on software usage and ensuring consistency in data collection patterns.
Integrity Advocacy: Support third-party vendors with integration and data transfer efforts, maintaining the integrity of the ecosystem.
