LMW, on behalf of its client, α leading film production and international distribution company based in Athens is
seeking a Communications & Marketing Executive to join its team.
As a key player in the Greek film industry, the company serves as a bridge between Greek storytelling and global audiences. Through its activities in production, distribution, and international sales, it brings Greek films to major markets, festivals, and platforms worldwide.
We are looking for a motivated communications and marketing professional to support the company’s visibility, strengthen its public presence, and contribute to its positioning within the international audiovisual landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Write and distribute newsletters showcasing company activities, film releases, and industry initiatives
• Draft and manage press materials, including press releases for film launches, festival selections, partnerships, and corporate announcements
• Plan and implement social media content and digital marketing campaigns across platforms
• Manage and grow the company’s social media presence with a strong focus on content performance and audience engagement
• Develop and maintain relationships with international trade publications, journalists, and local media
• Support outreach efforts to key stakeholders, including government bodies, industry organizations, producers, and partners
• Coordinate promotional campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Contribute to strengthening the company’s visibility within the Greek and international film industry
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field
• 5–6 years of professional experience in communications, PR, or marketing within the film, media, or creative industries• Strong background in marketing with a clear focus on social media and digital communication, including hands-on experience managing social media accounts and campaigns
• Very good knowledge of social media platforms, content strategy, and digital campaign execution, combined with experience creating press materials, newsletters, and digital content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
• Existing familiarity with film business and media and/or strong ability to build relationships with journalists and publications
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Nice to Have (Optional but Valuable)
• Experience working with film festivals or international markets
• Background in international sales or distribution environments
• Familiarity with EU or public-sector communication frameworks
