Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Events Associate Director to project-manage events and convenings—ranging from global flagship summits to policymaker roundtables and executive dinners—across Eurasia Group’s key markets. This is a hands-on role, responsible for client management, project execution, and stakeholder coordination. Applicants should have exceptional project management capabilities and experience managing all aspects of large-scale, complex events and summits. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the UN System and a robust network of contacts in the UN and Perm Rep community.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of coordination and project lead for a subset of Eurasia Group's events portfolio, ensuring project milestones are met for successful, on-time event delivery.
- Liaise with and foster relationships at the highest levels with government stakeholders, partners, and corporate executives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including GZERO Media editorial, content, events, corporates and global markets practices, and marketing staff, as well as sponsors, partners, and government agencies.
- Track project schedules, develop and maintain comprehensive project management documentation, and ensure all deliverables are met in accordance with predetermined timelines.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit summit communications and event materials to the highest professional standard.
- Support the Head of Events in decision-making and align all activities with overall objectives; escalate major decisions for approval.
- Maintain high standards in event participant experience and post-event satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 7+ years’ demonstrated experience managing large-scale events and/or complex, multifaceted projects.
- Extensive experience working with UN officials and a deep understanding of the UN System
- Extensive experience managing relationships with policymakers, C-suite business leaders, and experts across academia, multilateral organizations, and and civil society groups.
- Superior project management, organizational, and relationship management skills; demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and to tight deadlines.
- Impeccable English communication skills, including copywriting and editing.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Deep understanding and interest in politics/geopolitics strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating with limited autonomy in a structured approval environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
