Development & Permitting Phase
- Prepare technical documentation and drawings (SLDs) for TSO/DSO connection applications.
- Conduct preliminary electrical yield analysis, grid capacity checks, and cable routing studies.
- Create engineering inputs required for environmental and installation licenses.
- Assess preliminary technical specifications for main equipment.
Electrical Installation & Supervision
- Supervise and monitor electrical installation works, including transformers, inverters, switchgear, mediumvoltage (MV) and highvoltage (HV) cable networks (Grid Connection & E-BoP Works).
- Ensure all electrical activities follow engineering designs, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and site technicians to resolve technical issues.
Commissioning & Testing
- Plan and supervise commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
- Supervise functional tests on MV/HV equipment, SCADA systems, and gridconnection components.
- Verify compliance with grid codes and utility requirements.
- Oversee the energization process.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, electrical safety guidelines, and permittowork systems.
- Ensure safe working practices around MV/HV installations and energized equipment.
QA-QC, Technical Documentation & Reporting
- Monitor Quality Control Plan
- Review and approve electrical drawings, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of installation, tests, energization, and commissioning activities.
- Report progress, issues, and deviations to the project manager and engineering teams.
Project Coordination
- Support scheduling and planning of electrical construction activities.
- Coordination of Quality inspections
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and gridconnection teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Interface with turbine suppliers, transformer manufacturers, electrical equipment vendors and TSO/DSO
Requirements
- M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering.
- Medium experience (more than 3 years) in RES, power systems, or largescale electrical infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with MV/HV systems, protection relays, and renewable energy technologies.
- Knowledge of SCADA, HV substations, and gridintegration systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office (Excel, Project).
- Understanding of electrical simulation software (power analysis, grid simulation and compliance) is a strong plus.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, SLDs, layout drawings, and technical documents.
