Responsibilities
- Define and execute the medium- and long-term category strategy across multiple channels, including retail stores, e-commerce, supply chain, merchandising, and customer experience.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and shape product assortment strategies.
- Build and manage compelling product portfolios, ensuring relevance, competitiveness, innovation, and strong customer appeal.
- Develop sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing strategies to achieve annual commercial and profitability targets.
- Lead supplier relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and identify new partnerships that strengthen category performance.
- Define pricing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, balancing competitiveness, margin growth, and market positioning.
- Plan and execute annual commercial calendars, promotional campaigns, and seasonal activations based on market demand and sales targets.
- Optimize product visibility and conversion across digital platforms to drive omnichannel sales performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Stores Operations, Finance, and E-commerce to ensure flawless execution.
- Lead, coach, and develop category team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Monitor KPIs, sales performance, stock efficiency, and profitability, taking proactive actions to maximize results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, Buying, or Commercial roles within Retail, FMCG, DIY, Home Improvement, or Consumer Goods sectors.
- Proven category experience in Decoration, Lighting, and/or Sanitary Ware is essential.
- Proven experience managing teams and leading cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel retail and digital commerce.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable decisions.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and modern productivity tools.
