We are seeking an accomplished Principal Environmental Consultant with 12 or more years of experience to help lead our Canadian Contaminated Sites practice and support some of Canada’s largest and most complex industrial and/or mining site remediation and closure projects. This is a seller-doer leadership opportunity with a clear equity/shareholding path. You will also play a pivotal role in business development, client success, and team growth.

What You’ll Do
- Lead client engagement across industrial sectors (focused on contaminated sites) and/or the mining remediation and closure sector.
- Deliver technically challenging projects in contaminated land, site remediation and rehabilitation (industrial and/or mining), regulatory compliance, and beneficial reuse of materials.
- Mentor and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional excellence.
- Provide strategic environmental advice on regulatory policy, assurance, compliance, remediation, and risk management.
- Actively pursue new opportunities, contributing to business development and revenue growth through a proven seller-doer approach.
- Contribute to company strategy and future planning, helping to shape the growth of our Canadian and international business.
What We’re Looking For
- 12 or more years of environmental consulting experience, with a strong background in industrial contaminated sites management.
- Professional accreditation and/or eligibility (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., QP, CESA or equivalent provincial designations) will attract additional compensation support.
- Proven seller-doer track record with measurable business development success.
- Recognized leadership ability, including delegation, team building, and driving both sales and practice growth.
- Strong technical expertise in contaminated land and groundwater assessments, remediation strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; Fluency in French (written and spoken) is strongly preferred.
- A collaborative mindset with the ambition to contribute to culture and company-wide growth.
- Experience in multiple Canadian provinces and/or the United states preferred
