Position Overview
EHS Support is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our Operations team. This role will be responsible for managing contracts across the full project lifecycle, with a focus on risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and alignment with project execution in environmental and construction settings.
This individual will serve as a key partner to Project Managers, Operations, and Leadership, ensuring contracts are structured, executed, and managed in a way that protects the business while enabling delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in contract management and insurance claims, is highly motivated in this space, and is eager to improve processes and drive efficiencies as we continue to scale.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage contracts across the full lifecycle, including review, negotiation, execution, and closeout
- Partner with Project Managers and Operations to ensure contracts align with project scope, risk profile, and execution strategy
- Identify, assess, and communicate contractual risks, ensuring alignment with the realities of environmental and construction project work
- Support and manage insurance claims processes, including coordination, documentation, and resolution
- Develop and standardize contract management processes to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization
- Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance expectations
- Support vendor and subcontractor onboarding, including contract review and risk evaluation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms are understood and properly executed throughout the project lifecycle
- Track key contract milestones, deliverables, and obligations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve overall contract management efficiency
- Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and reporting
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with evolving responsibilities and changing business needs.
- Experience supporting operational teams, project-level account coordination, and internal business functions beyond core contracts management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to internal risk mitigation, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborative and flexible approach with a willingness to support cross-functional teams and organizational priorities as needed.
