EHS Support is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior-level Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic Remediation Engineering team. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of water resources projects across the United States; including stormwater modeling and design, surface-water hydraulic modeling, contaminant fate and transport studies, and NPDES permitting support.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technical applications within the Water Resources sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and analysis of hydrologic, hydraulic, and hydrodynamic models.
- Research and analyze environmental information, including stream gage, weather, and oceanographic data, to support model development and decision-making.
- Conduct field investigations and data collection for water resource projects.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering plans, and presentations.
- Support the design and implementation of stormwater management systems, remedial designs, and other engineering projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in water resources engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling methods and software (e.g., TR-55, HEC-RAS, SWMM).
