The Staff Accountant helps Clicklease maintain accurate financial operations in Costa Rica by executing payroll, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
This role is structured as a temporary independent contractor engagement with the potential to transition into a permanent position after one year, based on performance and business needs. As a contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and statutory obligations (e.g., CCSS/INS where applicable). This is an outcomes-based engagement that does not create an employer-employee relationship, and contractors maintain flexibility in how work is performed while collaborating with the Clicklease team as needed.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning core accounting processes, working with precision, and ensuring financial data integrity in a dynamic environment.
Modality:
Hybrid (2 days in office in Alajuela, Costa Rica, near the airport)
Schedule:
Part-time (4–5 hours daily, Monday–Friday)

You will be part of the Finance & Accounting team, working closely with the Controller and external accounting partners to support accurate financial reporting and compliance across Costa Rica operations.
