About the Role
The Collections Representative II helps Clicklease improve portfolio performance and reduce delinquency by proactively managing customer accounts, negotiating payment solutions, and delivering professional customer interactions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to measurable business outcomes.
The Team
The Collections team plays an important role in supporting Clicklease’s portfolio health and customer experience. Team members work collaboratively to resolve delinquent accounts while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and strong customer service standards.
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound and outbound collections communications with customers regarding past-due balances through phone, email, and text messaging.
- Educate customers on payment expectations, account status, and available payment solutions.
- Make outbound calls daily to support portfolio recovery objectives and delinquency reduction goals.
- Review account information and collections reports to prioritize outreach efforts effectively.
- Document customer interactions, payment commitments, and account updates accurately within CRM systems.
- Perform skip-tracing activities to locate and reconnect with difficult-to-reach customers.
What You Have
- C1 or higher English language proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or delinquent account management.
- 1+ years of experience in the financial services, lending, or fintech industry.
- Experience managing customer communications through phone, email, and text messaging channels.
- Experience using CRM or account management software in a customer-facing environment.
- Experience documenting customer interactions and account activity accurately within digital systems.
- Experience analyzing account information and prioritizing collections activities using reports or portfolio data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience in equipment finance, retail finance, or wholesale finance environments.
- Experience performing skip-tracing activities on delinquent accounts.
- Experience working with business-owner customers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
