The Senior Financial Controller helps Clicklease deliver accurate, scalable, and compliant financial operations by leading core accounting functions, strengthening internal controls, and driving operational excellence across multiple entities.

The Team
You will lead a team within the Accounting & Finance organization, partnering closely with the Sr. VP of Accounting & Finance, a peer Controller, and cross-functional finance partners to support financial reporting, compliance, and operational scale.

- Compensation: Highly competitive base salary + performance-based bonus.
What You’ll Do
- Leading and developing a team across accounting functions, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
- Owning the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across assigned entities
- Overseeing core accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and expense processes
- Ensuring accuracy, reconciliation, and audit readiness of all financial data and reporting outputs
- Overseeing lease and portfolio accounting, including reconciliations and reporting of portfolio activity
- Partnering on budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and financial insights
- Serving as primary contact for audits and ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Driving improvements in accounting systems, workflows, and automation to support scalability
What You Have
- 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm (Big 4 or leading regional firms strongly preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 3+ years of public accounting experience at Senior or Manager level
- Experience managing and developing accounting teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Experience in financial services, lending, or leasing
- CPA license, active and in good standing preferred but not required)
- Experience with structured finance or lender reporting
- Experience leading audits and lender examinations
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Experience improving systems, automation, or AI-enabled workflows
