The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Training Engineer'', for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Training Manager of the Training department in Stratoni.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to organizational needs, including technical skills, software proficiency, safety protocols, and compliance training
- Create and continuously improve training materials such as presentations, manuals, videos, and interactive learning modules
- Build structured training curricula covering both foundational knowledge and advanced skill development, ensuring clear learning pathways
- Apply instructional design principles to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences, integrating multimedia, interactive activities, and assessments
- Deliver training through multiple formats, including classroom sessions, workshops, webinars, e-learning platforms, and one-on-one coaching or mentoring
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant and impactful
- Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; adjust programs accordingly to maximize results
- Continuously enhance training methodologies and materials to support evolving business and operational needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and align programs with strategic objectives
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, progress tracking, and evaluations; prepare reports demonstrating training impact and ROI
- Ensure all training programs comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal quality processes
- Provide ongoing support to trainees, including guidance, troubleshooting, and follow-up learning opportunities
- Lead and manage the trainers team, ensuring alignment with the annual training plan and overall training framework
- Develop, review, and submit the annual training plan for Kassandra Mines to relevant authorities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer and/or Production Engineer, preferably in mining or heavy industry
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training administration tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training program evaluation methodologies
- Experience with graphic design and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate, Canva, or similar tools)
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to training and development
- Strong domain expertise in technical fields such as mining, mechanical engineering, electronics, or related disciplines
- Valid driver’s license
